VICTOR 6000 - ROV for subsea exploration

Ocean exploration as far as a 6000 m deep : linear investigation or local inspection with three days continuous immersion capability.

System support
Surface ship equipped with an A frame, 8500 m electro optical cable winch, 1 ton depressor body; 300 m long neutrally buoyant tether, 20' iso container for Rov containerized control room.

The vehicle is equipped with sophisticated optical viewing sensors and is able to carry and operate scientific instrumentation. Its 6 thrusters enable full motion capability.
Communications to the surface are through digital optical modem and single fibre optic.
Automation is complete for piloting: auto-immersion, auto heading, auto altitude. Normal operating crew includes one scientist, one pilot and one mission captain.
